We are seeking a full-time Interim Minister (Rector Designate) to this post in rural Staffordshire. The post is available for three-years, with the potential to extend for a further period or make permanent if circumstances allow. The position comes with a 4-bedroom Rectory. Our Benefice comprises four churches in Lapley, Wheaton Aston, Blymhill and Weston-under-Lizard, each with its own distinctive features but working together as a team. A car and the ability to drive is a necessity as public transport is limited.
Are you looking to move to a beautiful rural location with close by amenities?
We are praying for someone who is:
- inclusive, caring, loving and welcoming;
- an inspiring and effective leader who is also a team player;
- committed to sustaining and strengthening links with families, young people and schools, the older community and all those in between;
- able to promote different worshipping styles and to find and engage with new volunteers with enquiring minds;
- keen to get to know people and be part of village life.
We are praying for someone who will support us in developing our faith further and strengthening our links with one another and across our communities.
Could you be this person? Are you someone who is passionate about helping us to extend the Kingdom of God in our villages, a team player with a heart for evangelism and discipleship?
