The Parishes of St Luke’s & St Paul’s Leek, and St Matthew’s Meerbrook, in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, are looking for a new Team Vicar.
St Luke’s & St Paul’s have three different congregations, with different worship styles, a heart for community action and a dedicated, supportive leadership team; St Matthew’s is a small rural parish with a committed congregation and a friendly, enthusiastic community. Our vision is for a growing Church where our love for Jesus overflows into love in action for our neighbours.
We are looking for a leader to empower, inspire and release us to do ‘more than we could ever ask or imagine’ for the Kingdom; to nurture and encourage the current congregations as we move towards the future God is calling us to, and to welcome the new people we believe are coming to join God’s family here.
Could this be you? A confident, approachable, ‘smile and step forward’ kind of leader who knows how to build consensus and get things done, with an authentic love for Jesus that feeds into a deep love for all kinds of people.
The post will be 0.75 at St Luke’s & St Paul’s, 0.25 at St Matthew’s.
All applicants should normally have 3 years' experience in the Church of England or another Anglican church in the British Isles.
