Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Christian with experience of working with young children and families. You will have leadership skills and a vision for young children’s ministry.  The post focuses on strengthening connections with children and families in Streetly.  The Pre-School worker will be self-motivated and passionate about connecting with young children and families, able to inspire, empower, lead and work with a small group of volunteers. You will be responsible for running the well-established Toddler Groups which meet on Monday and Friday mornings, term time only.

The 6 hours a week will be worked flexibly, with the possibility of a job share. You will be based at All Saints Church to run the Toddler Groups, with remote/home working as an option when undertaking administrative work and social media content creation.

You will work collaboratively within the ministry team, supporting the vision of the PCC, attending worship and outreach events that engage children e.g. Christmas Tree Festival, Pet Service and Messy Church. You will be supported by the PCC and wider church.

All Saints is passionate about engaging with the community and provides a focal point for community events marking the major festivals in the Christian calendar. Long term connections are established with families who turn to the church for life events. All Saints is keen to extend their ministry with young children by seeking out opportunities to serve the community, strengthening connections, and demonstrating kindness and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
