Micro-Grants Officer

Purpose

To effectively develop and manage a portfolio of micro-grants, provide support to grant holders and to facilitate the delivery of quality projects on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement transparent, timely and effective grants management processes.

• Contribute to the creation of application, assessment, and post award management materials and to the development of all aspects of new funding programmes.

• Undertake assessment of applications and present recommendations for decision-making. Provide necessary papers in good time and convene the Micro-Grant Award committee.

• Working with colleagues coach and support grant holders in the management of their activities.

• Collect, write and review and collate reports for submission to West Midlands Racial Justice Unit (WMRJU) Director and WMRJU Board. Collect “narratives” from participants for inclusion in annual and other reports.
