Diocesan Clergy Spouse and Partner Officer
Free, independent and confidential support for spouses and partners of clergy and ordinands in training is offered by the Revd Lisa Knight. Lisa has a breadth of experience and wisdom gained through having experienced training and ordained life both as a clergy spouse and as an ordained priest. Lisa currently lives in in Shrewsbury with her husband Andrew & two adult daughters. She and Andrew have lived in vicarages all their married life as Andrew was in ministry when they met and subsequently married over 30 years ago. They have lived in each of the Episcopal areas of the Lichfield diocese and Lisa was born & educated in Walsall.
Lisa comments ‘Being a clergy spouse and/or partner is a role like no other! Sometimes it brings great privilege & blessings and other times less so! Now being ordained myself I have gained a further layer of insight into the dynamics of clergy families and partnerships’.
