Ministry & Leadership |
![]() Thursday 9 October 2025In this session, Dr Kevin Croker applies the concept of ‘organisational culture’ to church settings, and in so doing helps participants identify unspoken / unquestioned assumptions within parish teams – “we don’t do it that way here”. By using industry examples, Dr Croker will help participants to understand that, sometimes, these processes can hold organisations back from being the kind of places they want to be. Participants will be introduced to a questionnaire which they can take back to their parishes. By completing it, parishes will have a sharper understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for change within their churches. Dr Croker will also cover how to interpret the results of the questionnaire and how parishes can re-group around their collective values and lay the foundation for constructive collaboration, empowerment, innovation and growth. Dr Croker’s presentation is built upon 20 years’ experience as a senior leader in different industry sectors within major UK, US, Finnish and Dutch companies. His role involved leading organisations through major change projects, including how to change processes which had been taken for granted. He also has 10 years’ experience as a Senior Lecturer and leader of the Executive MBA programme at the University of Wolverhampton Business School. Who is it for: Anyone involved in leading and working with others in their Church Community. Course Hosts: Dr Kevin Croker Time:
