Bill, who served a faithful ministry in this diocese, died on Friday 22 August 2025.
Bill was ordained deacon at Lichfield Cathedral on the 1 July 1973 and a year later ordained priest. He served all his priestly life the Stafford Area of the diocese of Lichfield, firstly as curate at Clayton St James the Great and then as vicar at Hartshill Holy Trinity. From 1982 until 1990 Bill served as rector of Stone St Michael and Aston. Following retirement Bill held PtO ministry until 2016.
