It's my first time back at Neil Baldwin's place since our interview the week that Marvellous was released. There are plenty of new mementos on show in his Newcastle flat. The birds' cages have been spruced up beautifully, and the budgies look and sound magnificent.


Wolverhampton Faiths

On 27 - 30 November, a banner of unity will be taken around major places of worship of different faiths in the city. On the Sunday evening it will be presented to the Mayor as a pledge to the city of the peace and unity of all faiths.


Church Crawl with Bishop Clive

On Saturday 5th March up to 90 people at a time attended an event to mark the Licensing of the new Benefice of Burntwood, Chase Terrace, Chasetown and Hammerwich (known as the Burntwood Chase Team). Each church in turn held a part of the service, with some people going to all four.

St Chad's Church in Shrewsbury becomes the first in the country to sign the Armed Forces Covenant.

St. Chad's Church in Shrewsbury has become the first church in the UK to sign the Armed Forces Covenant. The Archbishops of Canterbury and York signed the covenant in 2015 on behalf of the entire Church of England, but St Chad's is the first individual church to follow their lead.


Wolverhampton vicar represents church at Queen's Patron's Lunch in the Mall

One highlight of Her Majesty's ninetieth birthday celebrations this weekend is the The Patron's Lunch, a streetparty in the Mall on Sunday with 10,000 guests from the 600 charities and organisations of which the Queen is a Patron.
