Seeking the Kingdom - on foot

Bishop Michael on walking pilgrimage

From 3 - 12 April, as part of his Lenten Observance, Bishop Michael will be walking though all four archdeaconries of Lichfield Diocese, continuing the long tradition of foot pilgrimage in Mercia, started by St Chad our first bishop.

On each of these ten days he will stop in the evening to join a parish for prayer and Bible study. He will take as his subject one of the ten goals in the Diocesan Strategy, ‘Seeking the Kingdom’ on each day.

The Bible studies will be published in a booklet available at each venue and after each evening online through the table below.

People are welcome to join Bishop Michael on his walks with the caveat that some of his visits and meetings en route are not able to be public and there is no guarantee that planned routes will run to time - please contact Richard Barrett details of specific days.
