Exciting opportunity
We are seeking a positive, energetic and creative person with a sound musical background to become our Director of Music. We need someone who is excited to help us develop our music offering, by growing our existing adult choir and developing the children’s choir. The adult and junior choirs rehearse weekly and sing at services and weddings. Our worship includes a variety of musical styles, from our traditional Choral Evensong and Sung Eucharist with choir and organ, to our informal Family Praise service, led by our worship band.
As well as leading choirs, the position will involve playing the organ at services which are held at 10.00am Holy Communion on Sunday and a 6.00pm Evensong once a month. There are extra services at Easter and Christmas.
